Our Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality Management systems meet all the Integrated Management System requirements.

The Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria is the independent umbrella group of training service providers in the Oil and Gas sector established by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in 2010, which represents the education and training sectorial group of the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF). Its purpose is to build local human capital capacity in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
As a member of the organization, we at Prime Atlantic Safety Services contribute to this mission by hiring and equipping local nationals.

Prime Atlantic Safety Services is accredited by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association, a trade association for organizations involved in the lifting industry. LEEA prompts standards and development for worldwide Lifting and Safety industries, which is evident in the quality of the training we provide for our clients in that field.

Our maritime safety training courses are approved by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), an agency responsible for regulations related to Nigerian shipping, maritime labor, and coastal waters. Some of the training courses for the maritime industry include but are not limited to Basic Safety Training (STCW), ISPS, Travel Safely by Boat, Survival at Sea, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Sea.

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) is the regulatory body of the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria. Prime Atlantic Safety Services provides safety, survival, emergency response trainings, and consultancy services to our clients in the Oil and Gas and Maritime industries and we are approved by DPR to carry out these services in the country.

Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority is the regulatory body for aviation in Nigeria, which became autonomous with the passing into law of the Civil Aviation Act 2006 by the National Assembly. The Act empowers the authority to regulate aviation safety and to carry out oversight functions of airports, airspace, meteorological services, etc. as well as economic regulations of the industry. We comply with these regulations in the delivery of our safety training to clients in the aviation industry and are thereby approved by the NCAA.

OPITO is an industry-owned, not-for-profit organization that exists solely to service the needs of the Oil and Gas industry. The industry-owned organization also works with governments, national oil companies, operators, and contractors, offering a range of services and products to meet international skills needs and support workforce development. Our training center and range of safety trainings are OPITO approved.
