
Kuku Olugbenga Adekunle
Kuku Olugbenga Adekunle brings over 30 years of combined experience in the oil and gas, marine, and industrial sectors, beginning his career as a seafarer before transitioning to training and development. He started in the Training Department of M&O (Marine & Oil Blisston Training Centre) as an Assistant Instructor and Safety Scuba Diver, before joining Falck Prime Atlantic Nigeria—now Prime Atlantic Safety Services (PASS)—in 2008 as a Marine Instructor and Assessor, Lead Auditor, and Verifier in Training and Development. He progressed to Senior Instructor and was promoted to Training Manager in charge of Learning and Development in 2013.
Kuku is an Associate Member of the Nigeria Institute of Safety Professionals (NISP) and holds HSE qualifications. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) in the UK, a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2000, and OHSAS 18001:2007, accredited by IRCA and IEMA. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (IMC, ICMC), as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Entrepreneurship Management and Human Resource Development and a Fellow of the Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies (IAMPS).
Since beginning his instructional and administrative career in safety training, Kuku has been passionately committed to maximizing individual performance, inspiring interest in technology, and instilling a sense of self-worth among learners and employees. He is known for celebrating diversity, achieving professional excellence, and leveraging technology as a learning tool to maintain high standards while providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.
In his most recent role as Senior Training Manager at PASS, Kuku has successfully achieved multiple accreditations, maintained a strong record of continual improvement, and overseen the accreditation of a wide variety of training courses, contributing significantly to the development and professional growth of the organization.
