
Olumide Samson Alabi
Olumide Samson Alabi is the General Manager, Training & Operations at Prime Atlantic Safety Services (PASS), bringing over 20 years of experience in training, operations, and project management within Nigeria’s oil and gas safety and emergency response sector. He has a proven track record of leading large teams, managing resources effectively, and ensuring strict compliance with international standards.
Before assuming strategic oversight of the PASS Training Business, Alabi managed day-to-day operations for 70 to 100 staff and contractors, overseeing training programs, residential facilities, and client services, with over 36,000 delegates trained under his leadership. He has consistently ensured that operations meet ISO standards 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018, undergoing annual audits by clients and regulatory bodies since 2009.
Alabi’s expertise spans training, lead auditing, project and operations management, cost control, and client communications, complemented by resilience, collaboration, and a strong leadership presence. He holds a B.Sc. in Estate Management from Obafemi Awolowo University and has completed advanced management and leadership programs, including ISO lead auditor training.
Progressing from roles in estate surveying and training management to senior leadership, he now oversees strategic planning, budget management, product development, and client relationship initiatives to drive business growth and profitability. Alabi has also led accreditation renewals, new product approvals, bespoke training program development, and internal verifier and assessor capacity expansion.
In addition, he manages training schedules, staff competence, facility maintenance, and safety protocols to ensure effective and safe training delivery. He has contributed to multiple World Bank and government-related projects as rapporteur, coordinator, and project manager, supporting capacity building and community development initiatives.
