Target group

This course is designed to provide persons with responsibility for managing and controlling emergencies an opportunity to practice such operations and processes in a controlled manner. The sessions can be conducted using a generic offshore platform or tailored to specific company or personnel employed on different types of Installations.

Objectives

The course consists of theoretical and practical training in Helicopter Safety and Escape as taught in the Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training standard ( BOSIET ), and includes training in Emergency Breathing Systems (EBS) equipment.

  • Escape routes
  • Boundaries
  • Escalation Shutdown facilities Procedures
